Who Are We?

a family run business with passion for paint

I’m Ross, and I’m the proud Founder and Managing Director of Pickering Painting & Decorating Services Ltd covering Suffolk and surrounding areas.

Coming from an experienced background of Professional Decorators, my Grandfather gave my Father the opportunity many years ago of learning the knowledge of the trade and following this has made a career out of it for 35 plus years working his way through certain roles within his chosen company company. This was something I always admired and wanted to do myself, my dad took me on with his company and I never looked back .

Teaching me the right way and to give each job 110% as if it was my own home, covering many parts of the Job including Redecoration, New Build, Externals, Offices etc… I have always been taught very well in a lot of aspects .

I’m very lucky to have had dad’s guidance and with the amazing support from my wife, I feel this has helped me develop into wanting to run my own business and carry on the lessons and work ethic I have been taught.

I enjoy seeing the transformations and ideas a customer has had come to life and being the reason it’s looking to their satisfaction, If you’re simply having a small room decorated or a large outside area, at Pickering Decorators we cover a wide range of jobs as you’ll see from our gallery.

Customer Satisfaction and Standards are personally very important to me, I strive to give you a high end finish and make your project something to be proud of.

I’m very proud to be doing what I’m doing and am genuinely trying to get the business to grow so in time maybe my Son or Daughter will be able to make something out of the trade as well.

Creating a family business is exciting and there’s nothing better than having my proud name around the community on the van fleet. If I ever come to quote for your work, never have custard creams or a cup of tea too far away as these are my favourite.
